Vietnam and Australia: further enhance the cooperation in the legal fields

On June18, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Australia to Vietnam Allaster Cox  came to say farewel  Minister of Justice Ha Hung Cuong before completing his working term in Vietnam.

At the meeting on June 12, Minister Ha Hung Cuong congratulated Ambassador Laszlo Vizi have successfully completed his term of service in Vietnam. He appreciated the ambassador's contribution in promoting cooperation between the two countries as well as cooperation between the Ministries of Justice. The Justice Minister also expressed his hope that the Ambassador would continue to care and support cooperation between the two countries in general and the judiciary in particular.
Vietnam and Japan enhances ties in legal field

Welcoming Ambassador Yasuaki Tanizaki and Japanese senior experts to MOJ’s headquarter, Minister Ha Hung Cuong gave thanks to Japanese Government for their support to Vietnam in socio-economic and infrastructure development, especially in the fields of transportation, hunger and poverty eradication, measures to deal with climate changes, which helps Vietnam to build and perfect its market economy.

On May 28, Mr. Jeff Nankivell - Acting Regional Director General, Asia, Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA) gets a warm welcome from the Minister of Justice Ha Hung Cuong at the MOJ headquarter on the occasion  that the two countries is preparing for the implementation of the new agreements on judicial and legal cooperation.

Minister Ha Hung Cuong paid a working visit to Sri Lanka

Minister Ha Hung Cuong and representative offices of the MOJ on May 15 had left Vietnam to visit and work in the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka at the invitation of the Sri Lanka Minister of Justice, Mr Abdur Raauff Hakeem. During this visit, the Minister would have a talk with Minister Hakeem Abdur Raauff; visit and work at the Attorney General agency, Supreme Court, Bar Association. He also held a courtesy meeting with National Assembly Vice Chairman of Sri Lanka. Welcoming the delegation at the Colombo airport were representatives from Sri Lanka Ministry of Justice and Ambassador of Vietnam to Sri Lanka.
