Deputy Minister Nguyen Khanh Ngoc received the delegation from Laos Ministry of Justice to visit and work in Vietnam.

On March 27, Deputy Minister Nguyen Khanh Ngoc received the delegation from the Department of Justice of the Lao People's Democratic Republic led by Comrade Phom Mauddin, Director of the International Cooperation Department visiting and working in Vietnam during March 26-30, 2017. This is the first delegation of the Laos Ministry of Justice to visit and work in Vietnam in 2017 - the year marks the Anniversary of 55 years of diplomatic relations establishment, 40 years of signing the Treaty of Friendship and Cooperation of Vietnam - Laos and 35 years of judicial cooperation of Laos - Vietnam.

Within the framework of the cooperation program between the Ministry of Justice and the "Project on Harmonization of Laws and uniform application of law towards 2020" funded by the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), on March 13 2017, the Bureau of Management of Administrative Violations and Law Enforcement Monitoring, the Ministry of Justice in collaboration with JICA organized a Discussion on Law Enforcement.

The 4th ALES took place in Seoul, South Korea on November 1st 2016 under the theme of “Legal reform strategies for enhancing efficiency of the ASEAN transport systems” with the attendance of over 130 delegates from Vietnam , Laos, Philippines, Indonexia, Myanmar and South Korea. Korea’s Minister of Government Legislation, Mr. Je Jeong Boo, delivered opening speech and hosted the Symposium.
