Agreements on judicial assistance in civil and commercial matters and on maritime transport between Vietnam and Algieria takes effect

The judicial assistance agreement in civil and commercial matters and on maritime transport between the Government of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and the Government of the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria  was signed in Algeria on 14th August 2010 and came into force from 24th June 2012.

On 28-29/5/2012, with supports of the Project “Strengthening Access to Justice and Protection of Rights in Viet Nam” (supported by UNDP), the Ministry of Justice (Department of Criminal and Administrative Legislatives) hosted a consultative workshop on studies on amendment and supplement of the 1992 Constitution in Quang Ninh province to widely collect opinions from experts, scientists and representatives from ministries, sectors and localities to perform the 2012 task of reviewing the 1992 Constitution assigned by the Government’s Steering Committee. This activity is the follow-up of activities and Phase 1’s results of the Committee’s reviewing the 1992 Constitution.

On July 10, in the framework of the working visit in Vietnam, the delegation from Lao Ministry of Justice led by Mr. Vikon Bunvilay, Deputy Director of Department for Management of Legal System  paid a courtesy visit to MOJ. Deputy Minister of Justice Dinh Trung Tung received the delegation.

Korea-Vietnam MOU signing ceremony

On the occasion of attending the 2nd Asian Forum of Legislative Information Affairs in  Korea, on behalf of the Ministry of Justice, Deputy Minister Le Thanh Long and Korean Minister of Government Legislation Hon Jeong Sun-tae on June 28, 2012 signed the MoU between Vietnamese Ministry of Justice and Korean Ministry of Government Legislation.The signing ceremony was held at Korea International Exhibition Center.
