Promoting comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and the United States

On May 11th, Deputy Minister of Justice Nguyen Khanh Ngoc received Assistant Secretary of State for East Asian and Pacific Affairs Daniel Russel and Assistant Secretary of State for Democracy, Human Rights and Labor Tom Malinowski to discuss matters of mutual concern.

At the meeting, Deputy Minister Nguyen Khanh Ngoc affirmed that the Ministry of Justice highly appreciated the assistance from the United States. He also shared some information relating to legal and judicial reforms in Vietnam, especially the implementation of the 2013 Constitutions.
Both Secretary Assistants appreciated the relation between two country and said that the legal and judicial cooperation is an important basis to promote strategic partnership between Vietnam and the United States.
